Marketing - Marketing / Market Research / Leaf blower/vacuum/shredder
French term or phrase: encastrement
Hi,

I have a description of a leaf blower/vacuum/shredder:

"Simple à transformer en aspirateur, le couvercle est à encastrement et s’ouvre sans outil."

I can't clearly visualize this. Is it a fitted lid/cover or a lid with separate compartments?

Please help!

[couvercle à] encastrement
integrated (inlet/intake cover)

Explanation:
The air inlet directly facing the impeller must be open for the thing to function as a vacuum/shredder, and closed for it to work as a blower.

Yes, it's built-in, embedded, etc., but the word manufacturers like to use is "integrated".
