Tech/Engineering - Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) / Pottery term
French term or phrase: digitée
In a document about pottery, describing techniques and the qualities of clay as an introduction to information about archaeological finds in France. The phrase is just in a list of manufacturing techniques: "Les techniques mises en œuvre :
• Décor, appliqué sur l'argile crue : impression de coquillage (Cardial) ou aux doigts (digitée)…"

How can I express "digitée" in English ? Is there a specific term, please? Thanks in advance for any help.

agree  chris collister: Gives new meaning to digital processing... Just "fingered" is tempting but probably not "light-fingered"...
