French to English translations [PRO] Science - Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) / pipelaying
French term or phrase:PEHB
Polyéthylène: What's the difference (if any) from PEHD Fr. which I understand is HDPE in English.
I worked in plastics manufacturing for 9 years and while I worked daily with PEHD and PEBD I never came across "PEHB". That's not to say it doesn't exist, but I'm very much inclined to think it's a typo. (or someone thinking of PEBD while writing PEHD !)
I really can't help thinking this is a typo; could be a dictation error (b and d sound very similar), or an OCR scanno — loop characters like b and d do sometimes get misread.
