French term or phrase: coloris horizontaux défibrés
I don't really know if I have put this in the right category. I am translating a kitchen brochure from a French kitchen company and this is from the description of one of their kitchens.

The whole sentence is: "Disponible en 4 coloris horizontaux défibrés et 4 coloris supermats"

I can't imagine that we would talk about "4 defibrated horizontal colours" in English. I certainly wouldn't know what that meant if I were reading the brochure.

Any ideas?

Many thanks!

Explanation:
Hello

I think it is the wood that is defibrated and not the colours

'defibrated wood' et 'bois défibré' searches give results and pictures.

The 'horizontal' probably refers to the 'direction of the pattern' on the panels and surfaces although I admit I don't understand where this pattern comes from if the wood has already been defibrated. Nevertheless, you can see these coloured patterns on sites like
http://www.hubler.fr/bois-bruts/flex-d-hubler.html
that use the word 'défibré'

Just realized it may not even be 'wood' but a plastic with this effect
