I think there must be a technical term but I cant find anything anywhere. Is it 'gradients/points of infinity' or something like that ?
Many thanks

neutral writeaway: imo, just referring to the number of google hits as a reference is not really helpful-providing a reference to show why this is the right translation would be more helpful to Asker.

agree Bourth: ("infinite slopes" + mathematics + graph) gets over 100 ghits

agree Tony M: More context would help us to be sure, but the usual way I would interpret this would be 'infinitely steep slopes', for which of course 'infinite slope' is perfect

neutral Michael Barnett: I agree with Dusty's interpretation, but "infinite slopes" could also mean an "infinite number of slopes".

slopes to infinity

Explanation:
On a graph, the slope of the curve is dy/dx in mathematical terms. Thus as the slope approaches 90 degrees it approaches infinity.
