this is from a survey analysis . Is there a better translation than 'significant' here ? ! is it a mathematical term ?

agree  Richard Benham: "A difference that is not statistically significant" (or "statistically not significant" or "not significant statistically"). Anything with "insignificant" is definitely a no-no in this context.
