French term or phrase: dispersion globale

Pour évaluer l’aptitude d’un moyen ou d’un processus dans son ensemble, on distingue :

- La dispersion instantanée qui caractérise l’aptitude du moyen de fabrication sur une courte période : des pièces fabriquées en même temps dans les mêmes conditions ont des valeurs légèrement différentes.

- La ***dispersion globale*** prend en compte sur une longue période la dispersion due aux moyens ainsi qu'aux autres composantes du processus (milieu, méthodes, main d’œuvre, matière) qui, entre autres, intègre le décentrage, c'est à dire que la valeur moyenne observée n'est plus alignée sur la valeur nominale à respecter.
