French to English translations [PRO] Mathematics & Statistics | | French term or phrase: programme du consommateur | Les prix passent à px = 2 et py = 8. Quel sera le revenu nécessaire pour maximiser la satisfaction sur la même courbe d'indifférence qu'à la première question ? Ecrire au préalable le programme du consommateur correspondant.
The text is taken from an exercise sheet for a microeconomics course. I'm having real trouble understanding 'programme' in a mathematical context, and it pops up several times unfortunately. There are examples of 'consumer program' on the internet, but they all seem to be translations from French. |

LCH,
I did a LOT of online research to get my answer, and I think it is very close to the French. In the other answer, I could not find the words ''consumer program'' in the references. Thanks! |
