Explanation:
I'm confused as to what powers this generator (à vapeur...?) Internal or external combustion? However, if the application requires minimal pollution, then it is possible that it includes an "Exhaust Gas Recycler". BUT, more information is required for a sensible answer; ergo, confidence is low.

Possibly a heat recovery system or recuperator. Exhaust gases are used to generate steam which then drives a steam burbine, but these cogeneration plants tend to be quite large (several MW)

If it's a large generator, then balance of probability woould suggest this is a recuperator (heat exchanger), especially since these days it is becoming increasingly important to squeeze every electron out of every kg of carbon oxidised. As above, EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Recycler, but I no longer think this is what it is.

Asker: The Genset is powered by diesel, but Steam Genset is what if on the form. I have no other info as this is not a text but a list.

Asker: Knowing the company it's for I believe it a large one. However what does "EGR" stand for?
