Raccordement pneumatique: Contrôlez visuellement si l'unité d'entretien ainsi que les conduites pneumatiques ne présentent pas de dommages, avant de raccorder la machine à riveter au réseau d'air comprimé.
Fermez le manodétendeur sur l'unité d'entretien, puis ouvrez-le lentement après avoir raccordé la machine. Veillez à ce que personne ne se trouve dans la zone de danger de la bouterolle.

Raccordement air comprimé: Le raccord R 3/8" (12) se trouve sur l'unité d'entretien.
L'unité d'entretien est placée derrière le bâti de la machine, sur le côté gauche. Elle se compose d'un régulateur de filtration et d'un purgeur. Les fonctions de ces organes sont les suivantes:
séparation de l'eau et des impuretés
lubrification permanente des éléments pneumatiques au moyen du flux d'air
Les hublots de l'unité d'entretien (13,14) permettent de contrôler le niveau d'huile resp. de l'eau de condensation.
