the '...en rotation...' is redundant, and in fact, 'réducteur' could usuaully be assumed to be a step DOWN gearbox, so the 'reduction' COULD be left out too unless critical.
'toothed' is probably the more usual expression for this type of belt.
The important point is that the combination of stepper motor + gear drive + toothed belt means that no slippage is possible, which can be a vital point where timing relationships are concerned (think of timing belt on car engine!) |
