In the Ventilateur de séchage section;

Lors des mesures du bruit aérien, le personnel chargé de l'intervention devra porter des protections auditives adéquates (bouchons ou casque).

Of course, I found airborne noise, and the first part of the sentence would read something like: While reading/recording airborne noise levels,...But in a list of maintenance tasks for the ventilateur, I have:

- vérifier l'encrassement du filtre sur aspiration,
- vérifier la bonne étanchéité des paliers,
- vérifier le bonne serrage des raccords sur le circuit d'air chaud,
- vérifier la pression de soufflage,
- relever le "buit aérien" à un mètre
- vérifier l'état de l'accouplement élastique
- relever la température des paliers
- relever la signature vibratoire
