The general technique used to be referred to as chroma key in the TV world (or CSO by the BBC!) — however, as your context doesn't specify if this is actually TV broadcasting, or some other field, it might be safer to use the more long-winded generic term.
Note that 'chroma key' can be dione using any colour, so it doesn't specifically render the 'green' part — however, I would imagine that is of minor importance, in your context. |
