Yes I am thinking that since it regards radio presenter training, it must be a recording slot of what they have done which is then monitored for feedback. Now, all I have to do is put the idea into words... ouch

Hi Estelle, That's what I discovered in investigating yesterday (see GDT reference for "Pige"), which makes me think it's an audio clip or bite that has been isolated from a larger audio program.

I'm still having a hard time seeing pige as "freelance". I think polyglot has the right idea with it is a recording using a machine that catches the "pige" off the air.
With this in mind, I think "pige" is the talking that happens on air, whether it's the DJ, commentator, advertising, etc.

je pense que je vais pas partir tôt de la radio car ,en plus du boulot habituel que j'ai à faire après mon émission,je vois mon patron avec qui je vais faire ce qu'on appelle "une écoute de pige" c'est à dire qu'on écoute ensemble une de mes émissions et il me dit ce qui va et ce qui ne va pas !
