I can't find any satisfactory solution on the Internet (found "retransfers" but sounds rather vague). Does anybody know the correct term, notably for the media (Video Game) sector ? Could it be "Fees" ?
In the context, I finally turned the meaning around and used "Fees" for the article's title (Reversements), at the client's request and used "pay back" for "reverser" in the body of the article. However, I guess returns/return rates is the closest solution. Many thanks to all 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
I think "pay back" as a phrasal verb works as you suggested, though I would suggest "will pay back 80% of sales generated through the site". However, I would tend to avoid "payback rate" for reasons already stated (it's usually used to describe the rate of payback on an investment).
Until now, my preferred solution was effectively "pay back" : "and pay back 80% of the Turnover realized on the site". Then I thought I could translate "reversera" as if it was "cèdera" = transfer. However, I think I finally prefer pay back. If anyone has a brainwave, I'm still open. Thanks!
...that term is most commonly used when referring to the payback rate on an investment, and is IMO a little out of place here. Still scratching my head trying to think of a suitable equivalent.
Admittedly, I read your question then got sidetracked by the word “casino” on the answer below and thought that it was the context! (I have a short attention span...) So, I shall keep an open mind on it! Your new example just reads as if it means "pay" (ok send back, pay back but that isn't really the case....)
Thank you to those who have already answered. However, the context is not casinos, but an agreement between 2 video game distributors: Here's a clue from paragraph 5.1:
