Format plein pied sur le patient
This text describes a video being taken of a patient.
I realize this question has been on here before. However, "full-length shot" does not appear to apply here.
In one section of the document, the photos appearing directly after this description show some upper-body shots, some middle-body shots and some lower-body shots. However, in two other sections the term "format plein pieds" (with an "s") is used, and the photos following those descriptions ARE full-length shots. Could these maybe be two different terms?
Since this term can also supposedly mean "on the same level", could it just mean that the camera is level with the patient? Also, since it can also mean "ground level" could it also maybe mean that the camera is on ground level. I could really use some expert help here please! Thanks in advance .... |

| | Straight shot of the patient | Explanation: The right spelling is plain pied although many people think it's plein-pied but wrongly.
"Plain-pied" = "de même niveau" = straight (Web.Ref.1 and 2)
"Format" = "plan" (such as "gros plan"), I believe - therefore "shot" |
