Medical - Medical: Health Care / Dermatology/Corrective cosmetics
French term or phrase: atelier des thermes
This is in the title of someone who has written part of this paper. She is described as:
'Chargee de mission Couvrance, Responsable des ateliers des thermes, Etablissement therma *****'
(*****appears to be the name of a company)
Further on in the text, (which is mainly about concealing dermatological disfigurements with make-up), it also mentions 'Le spray d'eau thermale' and 'L'eau thermale prolonge la tenue du maquillage'. It appears to mean spa water, but this seems unlikely/bizarre.

"Active water for the skin: seeping slowly through chalky beds from the Turonian period, the thermal water of La Roche Posay is drawn from depths of 30 to 80 metres. With a low mineral content, it is bicarbonated, calcic, silicated water containing selenium. Its extraction temperature is 13°. It has anti-inflammitory, anti-pruriginous, healing and anti-free radical properties. Thermal water lays a silicated calcic dressing on the skin that regenerates it.

This water is an essential component of the La Roche Posay pharmaceutical product range."

agree  PB Trans: That's what I was thinking. "Atelier" can also mean a "rehabilitation centre" but i think in this case it is a workshop. The asker will need to get clarification from the client.

neutral  Julie Barber: why laboratory though?\ no it doesn't if they are promoting products. Anyway, it clearly doesn't say laboratory! :-)

-> This sounds more likely than workshop in the context! It doesn't mean promoting but more studying here. Research.
