Medical - Medical: Cardiology / angioplasty
French term or phrase: gouttière
From an angioplasty report, where patient had transradial angioplasty and stent placement. At the end they say:
"Ablation du matériel, compression à la gouttière"

I don't know whether they mean they used a sort of "gouttière" compression device - I have seen a lot of different patents for such devices, specifically for stopping bleeding of the radial artery. Or whether it means manual compression at some anatomical "gouttière". Any ideas please?
