French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Cardiology | | French term or phrase: pas de notion de contage | Patient suffers from dyspnea and orthopnea... The following is a part of the medical history:
"Pas de notion de sueurs nocturnes, pas de notion de frissons, pas de notion de contage."
Is this just "no clinical signs"? The only other English equivalent I could find was "no history of contact", but this doesn't fit here... |

Writing "no history of infectious contact" or "no infectious contact" amounts to exactly the same thing. The doctor would have asked the patient if s/he had been in contact with someone who was ill (or had been abroad, for example.)
"Contagion" is the transmission of infectious disease. If you want to use this word, you would have to say "no apparent risk of contagion". But that doesn't sound like something one would write in medical notes.
