Which is the common title in the US: French Board Certification in Cardiology; Board Certification or Diploma of Advanced Specialized Studies in Cardiology?

Is it defferent from the Diplôme d’études scientifiques spécialisées (DESS)?

agree  Yolanda Broad: Right approach. And good choice of words. There is no "term" in English for a diploma awarded in France: diplomas are not terms.

agree  Joab Eichenberg-Eilon: Diploma equivalency is a tricky subject. I agree with Yolanda. A simple translation of the title can be misleading.
