French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Cardiology / scintigraphy
French term or phrase: plan coronarien
Hi, I've got a patient report with the following:
"Nous rappelons que la scintigraphie myocardique qui fut réalisée en avril 2011 retrouvait une absence d’argument en faveur d’une évolutivité au plan coronarien puisqui’il était mis en évidence un nécrose inférieure avec minime ischémie résiduelle in situ sans ischémie au niveau des territoires antérieur et latéral"

To be honest, I'm not sure about évolutivité or plan coronarien - I'm guessing no evidence of coronary disease progression?? But I don't really have any idea!
Can anybody help? Thanks!

English translation:coronary artery disease
Explanation:
It is much more specific : there is no evidence of progressive or worsening coronary artery disease based on on the radiology imaging studies that are being reported here that showed no evidence of such progression of the disease condition.
The author then specifically describes the findings on which that conclusion is based.

Of course the term "plan coronarien" literally means concerning the coronaries in some way. I offered how the sentence should be understood and translated.

disagree  SJLD: "This is the true translation" - sorry but it's not - this is a literal translation that no English speaking doctor would use/not in this context, to mean "as far as the coronary arteries are concerned"

-> You may diagree as much as you want but I can assure you that doctors DO say on coronary level. I should know as I have typed hundreds of records in hospital. I congratulate you for your perfect English, however it is the least doctors are concerned.

agree  DouglasCarnall: The target sentence recalls Twain's crack about "French [being a language] where they always tangle up everything to that degree that when you start into a sentence you never know whether you are going to come out alive or not
