French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Cardiology / coronary bypass grafts
French term or phrase: anastomosé sur
Hi,
I'm not sure whether I have understood this sentence correctly:
"Greffon mammaire interne gauche (MIG) anastomosé sur l’interventriculaire antérieure distale"
I've translated it as:
"Left internal mammary (LIMA) graft to the distal portion of the LAD"
It's anastomosé sur, really, that I have doubts about.
Any help?! Thanks!

English translation:anastomosed to
Explanation:
The graft (piece of artery) is connected to the LAD - this is called an anastomosis.

You could also say "Anastomosis of LITA graft to the distal LAD." Sounds better to me in fact

LIMA now called LITA (left internal thoracic artery)
