Hi again guys!
I'm a bit stuck with IMM, which appears in the usual list of CBC tests (Lymphocytes, monocytes etc) I've come up with "immature reticulocytes" but don't have enough evidence to be sure that's correct.
Does anybody know?

Unfortunately the client never got back to me about the meaning if this (I don't think they actually know the answer!) but having read as much info as possible, I think this makes sense. 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
hmm, that's interesting. The figures are correct - that's what the text says anyway. Perhaps I'd better check with the client on this one, to be sure what's meant.
Are you sure about the figures? Looks like the differential in SI units - expressed as a proportion of 1 rather than a percentage. The figure for lymphocytes is normal but much too low for neutrophils. Should be 0.40-0.60. On the other hand, the figure of 0.003 would be plausible for immature neutrophils (bands), which is perhaps what IMM refers to here.
If you select out all the google hits with "Contribution à l'étude des index de maturation myéloïde et érythroïde du macaque cynomolgus (Macaca fascicularis)", you are left with 1 ghit - this Kudoz question.
Could be any immature cells - depends where it crops up - in red cell or white cell results?
