SOI (should read SpO2) is the oxygen saturation - presumably measured on the pulse oximeter (the gadget they put on your finger) and IL is actually 1L - one litre of oxygen per minute. So SpO2 of 95% on O2 1L per minute (usually via mask or nasal cannula). These are pretty basic procedures in patient care that all medical translators should know.
Note SpO2 for saturation measured with pulse oximetry, SaO2 for meaurement performed on arterial blood, SvO2 for venous blood. Not really sure which one applies here, but pulse oximetry is standard procedure. |
