Medical - Medical: Health Care | | French term or phrase: bouillon de récupération | The term occurs in a laboratory report on tests carried out on an appliance for disinfecting bedpans. Bedpans soiled with a particular type of pathogen are cleaned in the appliance. Any residual pathogens after cleaning are removed from the pan and placed in the bouillon de recuperation and allowed to grow before being counted.
I would be grateful for help with the correct term.

Pretty sur that's what it is; a 'medium' here would be the culture medium such as you would find on a Petri dish (A Petri dish is a shallow glass or plastic cylindrical dish that biologists use to culture cells, which can be bacteria, animal, plant, or fungus)
