French term or phrase: cylindre tronqué
The sentence is part of a text on the Susysafe project to rpevent suffocation. Any idea what this cylindre is? Perhpas it's a reference to French legislation or a specific law?

Thanks!

or NO-CHOKE TESTING TUBE

NO-CHOKE TESTING TUBE
Originally developed by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the tube simulates a young child’s
throat. An object which fits entirely into the cylinder fails the test and poses a choking danger to
children under three. A toy or toy part passes the test if it protrudes from the cylinder.

bronchial passage

Explanation:
refers to toy parts that are small and may result in suffocation or lung collapse if they pass through a child' bronchus.
These toys have warning labels to that effect.
The cylindre tronque in this case refers to the bronchial passage which is trunchated. Divides into the left and right passage.
