Claire's suggestion of front cutaway for personal cleaning is an interesting one; although I feel sure that the dimensions given confirm that it is indeed referring to the 'main' hole, perhaps the FR text has been telegraphed and the intended reading was something like 'découpe (avec forme intime)' — a lot of the FR commodes I've seen do indeed have this sort of 'pear-shaped' hole instead of the plain, circular one I am more familiar with on UK models. |
