French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Health Care | | French term or phrase: adhérante au plan profond | Evening everyone,
In a medical examination text that I am translating about a boy who has stitches on his knee following an accident, it gives a description of the knee for which there is a photo above at at one point states:
"adherantes au plan profond" which comes at the end of the sentence:
"Il existe au dessus de la rotule en interne une cicatrice hypertrophique, rosee, rougeatre, legerement cheloide, adherante au plan profond, insensible a la palpation."
I am think that it means that the scar reaches up to the lower thigh and so past the "rounded" section of the knee onto the flatter section of the thigh?
Any help in clarification or correction would be great.
