French term or phrase: stomie de décharge

The context is a patient in intensive care after a severe accident which affected his pelvic area.

I have found several possible translations for this One colleague suggested: colostomy bag, however this has an equivalent.
Also "colostomy discharge".

Can anyone help?
I also found this in French:
"on le pratique souvent suite à une intervention chirurgicale, le temps que les sutures tiennent par exemple Au bout d'un certain temps, les chirurgiens font un "rétablissement de la continuité" et referment la stomie. Les selles reprennent alors le chemin habituel"

And I said that the use of the word "discharge " in the second document I refer to here is used in the sense of dishcarge from hospital... not that the original was referring to the patient being discharged. (Quand même...!). It is méga-obvious that the word discharge is being used in the orginal as offloading...as I made clear from the content of sources posted... the second one indicating the number of possbilities of "stomie" and for the caveat regarding use of the word "discharge"!!!

Thanks but I was not going to put "colostomy discharge"! Just to illustrate some of the confusing/ erroneous definitions provided by certain dictionaries. Thanks again.

SJLD	no no no no no 16:22 Oct 21, 2011 nothing to do with discharge. Décharge here means "taking the load of the colon". It's because the patient is so badly injured they don't want to have to worry about him having to evacuate his bowels.

The word 'discharge' here referring to the patient being discharged from hospital.

Sorry, I do understand the need to provide context. Unfortunately, in this case it is a medical file with instructions written in shorthand, such as "ACTIONS: Intraveineuse se fait à 1h...ATARAX 100 mg ...stomie de décharge". The patient has been involved in a serious car accident and has a long list of medical issues, such as fractured pelvis.

You have described certain things but you have not given the term in its original context? Any chance of additional context?
Sounds very much like a "colostomy" to me.

Explanation:
A colostomy is the specific operation, whilst a stoma is the name given to the actual site/opening of the bowel outside of the body.

There are two types of colostomy, permanent and temporary. This term refers to a temporary colostomy. However the term temporary stoma is often used to refer to this operation which results in a stoma.

I have translated as:

''It is often performed at the same time as another surgical procedure, in order to allow stitches to heal, for example. After a certain period, further surgery is performed to restore normal bowel circulation and the stoma is closed.''
