Maybe your client would prefer to know which bone making up the obturator ring is fractured - but that isn't clear from the meagre information provided.

I believe he may have worked in a hospital, leading to some misplaced confidence. He surely cannot deny the content of the articles with confirmation from a specialist, though.

Context: medical report on victim of car accident. Suffers a broken 'cadre obscurateur'. I found 'acetabular rim' in this forum but a colleague has said this is an unlikely translation.
