French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Instruments / Haematology
French term or phrase: passer/passage
The context is the validation of machines for analysing blood (veterinary medicine in this case).

Sample sentences:

"Réaliser une répétabilité (11 passages) avec chacun des sangs sur chaque machine."

"Pour le chat, faire moins de passages si pas assez de sang."

"Test supplémentaire : pour quelques échantillons, passer les tubes à T0, T1 et T2, en choisissant des temps de repos entre chaque passage, afin d’évaluer tout changement au cours du temps."

The meaning of "passer/passage" is clear (at least I think so): you put the samples into/through the machine, let the machine work its magic, then take them out again. But I just can't think of how to say it in English. Any help is much appreciated.
