French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / Connective tissue treatment
French term or phrase: tracé
Looking for all possible meanings of this word, as I can't fit it in to my otherwise complete translation.

The text is about Cellu M6 (there is plenty on the internet about this), a connective tissue treatment by special skin-rolling massage - a variety of treatments, for cellulite, scar tissue, sports injuries etc.

It's in fact a questionnaire and here's the question:

Avec le Cellu M6® KEYMODULE, la personnalisation des séances est avant tout dépendante
a. Du choix des tracés
b. Du choix des manœuvres
c. Du choix du type de rotation, Roll up, Roll in, Roll out

I know that 'tracé' can mean 'line' or 'route' (as in train network or something) and can also mean 'pattern' - as in the pattern traced for example by an ice-skater... and I am wondering if it means 'pattern' here - as in the pattern in which this device is used on the skin. Or can it mean simply 'design'? It's the only bit that has completely stumped me. Any ideas? Would be most grateful for any helpful suggestions. Thanks!

Yes, it turned out to be the actual pattern traced on the body by the device. My difficulty was rendering this in English, as 'tracing' was slightly unclear to the layperson... but you answer was technically correct. Thanks.
