Lorsqu'on parle de "tour 1" et de "tour 2", fait-on référence aux équipes qui travaillent à des heures différentes ("shift" en anglais) ?

Il s'agit d'un dossier de procédé de fabrication que les employés du service fabrication doivent remplir tout au long du processus.

disagree  Adam Deutsch: If the meaning is shift, then you should say "1st shift" or "2nd shift". "Turn of duty" does not sound like English to me.

tower 1 or 2, bench 1 or 2


Explanation:
Tour could be the set-up (manip in French) which is why I asked you for more data.
It could also be shift as you mentioned.
A "tower" can be used to manufacture some drugs... or for distillation... In that case it would be bench 1 or 2...
