This is a characteristic of a pharmaceutical tablet (related to its friability). "Wear-resistance" just seems odd to me in this context. Can anyone tell me whether that is correct or whether there is another term. Thanks!

Thanks. I decided to go with "abrasion resistance." Many of the Google hits quoted in other answers actually had nothing to do with pharamaceutical tablets if you looked at them carefully.
