Medical: Pharmaceuticals / clinical trial - chronic myeloid leukemia
French term or phrase: hospices
This is just given as the heading of the sheet where tables are given for adverse events in the trial: 'Hospices Civile de [town]'
I have translated it as 'State Hospices...' Do you think this is likely, or could it mean research centre, clinic, or something else?

Hospices civils de...
Explanation:
I agree with SJLD in the discussion. When you deal with a proper name, the best option is often to leave it as is.

Public Hospital

Explanation:
In France, Hospice is the old word for Hospital. It can take on the notion of being a retirement home, but I think in your case, mainly because you put "Hospice civil de (town)" it would be a public hospital, so the Lyon public hospital would work fine I think.
