French to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / pharmaceutical packaging

French term or phrase: cylindre d'appui

In the cleaning instructions for tablet packaging machinery (in blister packs) the following text appears:

Passer une chiffonnette humidifiée sur
- les carters en plexiglass
- les cylindres d'appui des comprimés.

I did a search and " cylindre d'appui" comes up as "idle roll" in an automotive context.

I don’t think it's appropriate here.

Any ideas?
