Could someone please translate this sentence. I’m having trouble with the word épineuse and in particular, the word costiforme, which appears several times in a document pertaining to the lumbar plexus.
Thanks for any help.
costal process of the lumbar vertebrae
The costiforme apophyse is situated opposite to the spinal crest.
apophyse costiforme=costiforme apophysis
costiforme=costal process of the lumbar vertebrae

Apophyse épineuse : spine of vertebra or processus spinosus
