Probably it's a very short form; B could stand for "Baxter"; on the other hand, G instead of B would suit me better, because, depending on the exact situation, I might choose a G/0,45 infusion fluid, which stands for 'Glucose (5 or 10%) + NaCl 0,45%'.

Didn't find any specific proof for these suggestions though, specifically connected to "B45".
