French term or phrase:lordoser
"On pousse sur les vis pédiculaires à l'aide des porte vis de manière à lordoser le rachis et à relever le plateau de L1".
I know "lordosis" exists in English, and that is obviously what they are referring to given the context, but as far as I can see we don't use it as a verb, so I am not sure how to get around this one. I was wondering about "to curve the spinal column inwards"?
