A ce moment la, ce serait removal of K wire pinning. Sinon, tension band removal. Mais ce n'implique pas toujours de la chirurgie.

Marilyn a encore raison...
Mon correspondant m'a dit que strut & cable était utilisé pour réparer et que l'on parlait de haubanage. Il voulait savoir si l'ensemble était externe.
Il pense donc qu'il s'agit de l'ablation du fil d'ancrage.

Hi Marilyn, I'm going to have a short rest in any case. There are very few words in the translation that I can't understand, at the moment. I did have a good read through before I began.

Certainly, I'll have a look at some orthopaedic sites too. This is my first orthopaedic translation, of note.

Hi Liz. I hope you won't be offended if I suggest you put the translation aside for an hour or two and do some background reading. There are some excellent orthopedic sites to consult. You will have a far clearer idea of what is happening after.

I don't know why the question is considered to be errant. The glossary entry is certainly errant. It should be removed or corrected.

Try searching with tension banding (or tension band). A wire is involved but it's not a guidewire. It's not a bone graft either. Sorry, I'm too busy to do any searching right away.

I've made an error.

It should = "Ablation DE hauban du coude gauche.

That is where I went wrong and why I didn't understand.

I think this must = guidewire ablation. I thought it was referring to a part of the elbow, rather than the actual procedure!
