Medical - Medical (general) / DAVMs - dural arteriovenous malformations
French term or phrase: caste
This describes the special product used in the embolisation of DAVMs.

Thank you!

Liz, I think SJLD brought a interesting ref.
Just click Google for "cast formation" and embolization
I apologize but I'm quite "overloaded".
I just tried to help you with something quite easy to verify.
Regards

NB: In French, sometimes we used to write "le cast de XXX" rather than "le cast du à".
Not very "nice" but the meaning is the same

Notes to answerer
Asker: Sorry, but this doesn't make sense. What is a "cast of the product X".

Asker: Sorry, I think I have come to the end of a long day....there are refs. for "cast" in relation to AVMs. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&as_qdr=all&q=cast+product+arteriovenous+malformations&btnG=Search&meta= but I am sorry to be thick, what does this actually involve? If you can explain I would be very grateful :-)
