With specific word like graminés you need a specific translation and "common English" is not the adequate lexical level.

And to quote other answerers "Seeing as it's a medical context, IMO it needs to be specific".

Hay fever

Explanation:
You were right- Hay fever

More specifically a 'gramine' allergy. Gramine is in pollen found in many types of grass including and causes hay fever.
Also called Graminis i believe.

-> Thank you so much for informing me! Now go ahead and be neutral with Katherine because it's just not "hay fever" either (implies more than just general hay fever). OK, my friend?

neutral  Bourth (X): In support of SJLD, "hay fever" (cf. Katherine) implies grass (hay = grass). Even if "hay fever" is often taken to include allergies to tree pollens, in principle it is more specific than "pollen allergies". Besides, U DID ask! & neutral is neutral! Petty

allergic to grass pollens

Explanation:
is the more common English expression

Probably hay fever is the result - but this is not specified in the source, so you can't presume it is.

By common English expression, I mean in common medical English, not in lay language terms. English authors rarely refer to "Gramineae allergy" and you would certainly not find it in medical notes. Having written and read many patient notes in my time, I think I might be well placed to know what is an "adequate lexical level", thank you.
