French to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) / comments about for drugs used on psoriatic rheumatism
French term or phrase: parcours bon usage anti TNF
Hello
I am translating a series of responses from doctors using drugs on patient with psoriatic rheumatism..
Here is the context.
parcours bon usage anti TNF, présentation malette patient/médecin.
Explanation: If this is an answer on a questionnaire, I guess the doctor is referring to the good practice guidelines for the administration of anti-TNF (usually alpha) agents.

In my opinion, this is a series of answers given by doctors in an online pharmaceutical marketing survey. I have often translated such documents (usually Excel files) and the doctors often use a rather "telegraphic" style, which quite corresponds to the context given by Liz.
It would be nice if Liz could confirm what type of document she is translating.
To Liz: Thank you for your note which confirms that my hunch about the context was the right one. Bon courage ! (for having translated quite a few of those spreadsheets in the past, I must say I don't envy you.)
Ah yes, one of those educational pharmaceutical company websites that encourages patients to learn more about their disease and ask their doctor about treatment options... all about making the disease market size bigger!
Liz, could this be a brochure, a leaflet or something else like a "presentation" ?

Abbott's French TNF blocker patient education programme
Explanation: I think in this context the clearest might be to say what it is: Abbott's French TNF blocker patient education programme. It is the header on an Abbott site, aimed mostly at patients giving information about how and when to use TNF blockers. The term they use for these drugs on their English site is TNF blockers http://www.myhumira.com/
As well as the site, they also have booklets with the same title: http://www.aflar.org/spip.php?article98

Asker: Thank you for this Helen, though I used the other answer, particularly as the client was hassling me for delivery of the job!! This will keep for further reference:)

I appreciate your help here! Under pressure, I could not find the answer myself!

Asker: Hello Anne, I must try (one day!) to get my ban from the discussion box lifted.
This was a spreadsheet with a whole stack of answers from doctors about their opinions/clinical findings/experiences of a drug used to treat psoriatic arthritis/rheumatism. As you say, "telegraphic responses", sometimes the doctors are the only ones who know what they mean!! :) :)
Asker: Strangely enough, although you do get the odd strange sentence on these spreadsheets, mostly I quite like doing them! Sometimes they are less tricky than texts about one subject, i.e. surgical operations! which can be a proverbial nightmare:) Bonne soirée!
The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to.
The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability.
Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
