French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general) / Procedure whereby a stent is deployed to the root of the left main bronchus
French term or phrase: en per procedure
This 85 yrs male patient is admitted after a fall at home. No fracture is found but he develops atelectasis in the left lower lobe because there is (non-malignant) compression of the root of the corresponding bronchus. A stent is deployed. Good result, in French "un resultat morphologique satisfaisant EN PER PROCEDURE". I don't know how to translate this latter phrase. It isn't in my dictionaries and when I Google on it the results come back in Flemish or Dutch! Any ideas, please?? Thanks in advance.

periprocedural(ly)

Explanation:
The usual set of prefixes in this context (for words like 'intervention' and 'operation' as well as 'procedure') is pre-, peri- and post-.

Probably better in English to use the adjective before rather than the adverb after.
