I have never heard of this term, nor can I find any mention of it on the net... What is the "calculateur pied de moyen" in question, and what "moyens" are they refering to??? Any help would be appreciated...

Son rôle consiste à :
- collecter l’ensemble des informations des différents moyens
- interdésigner les moyens entre eux
- designer les moyens d’après une information issue d’un calculateur central
- retransmettre des informations de position des moyens au calculateur central
- gérer les moyens connectés
- travailler à une cadence supérieure à celle du calculateur central (5 à 10 fois plus rapide)"
