groups of artists Explanation: Difficult to be specific without more context....for example, I can't tell whether this is talking about works of art as in paintings, or about some other art form such as music etc. Anyway, "formation" in the sense of training (or training course) doesn't seem to fit. "Formation" also has a more general use of a group or grouping, as in a "formation musicale" = a music group. Hence my suggestion of a group of artists (painters or whatever). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 mins (2006-09-08 15:34:07 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Another alternative might be "artists' groups" (with apostrophe). |
