  -> Yes, I basically agree with you that while googling shows a bit of use - as with "in the bins" & other such, the more common way of expressing this in EN are the other phrases I mentioned

enfin...'will hit the shelves' evidemment...This is what I have heard most in English. Released, in the shops, go on sale..these are different expressions.
