I cannot find a single reference to this term "dégardage", or anti-. I've translated it as "anti-flood" floor drains - but it's a bit of a guess. It relates to piping for non-contaminated waste water in nuclear power stations... |

I assume the garde of dégardage refers to the "guard" or "protection" or "shield" provided by the water retained in the trap that prevents nauseous odours rising from the drains.
anti-siphon trap A waste trap which resists unsealing, usually by having a deep seal of water in it, achieved by having a lower dip. In the single-stack system of internal pipework these traps may save the expense of branch vents.
