French term or phrase: transfert aérien
This is from an article about the decommissioning and decontamination of a former nuclear site. The objectives include

"400 boîtes à gants ou équivalents boîtes à gants (transferts aériens, tuyauteries, cuves...)

...assainir et démanteler l'ensemble des équipements ayant contenu de la matière radioactive en vue de déclasser les bâtiments nucléaires en bâtiments conventionnels.

Thanks!

overhead transport/craneage
Explanation:
Presumably the equipment used for handling radioactive materials, though it would not have CONTAINED such materials, unlike pipework, tanks or glove boxes.

Glove boxes as in the things for handling stuff without actually touching it. You get them in hospitals: a box with glass walls in which there are holes to which "gloves" on the inside are attached; you put your arms in the "gloves" and handle what is in the box. For nuclear applications I imagine they are rather more complex, with thick walls, thick special-glass portholes, and probably robotic handlers or at least some mechanical system transferring hand and finger movements to the inside.

agree  chris collister: that's a lot of gloves. (assuming these are boxes of gloves, and not glove-boxes...)
