French to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Nuclear Eng/Sci
French term or phrase: dans l'oeuvre
This is from a set of talking points by a nuclear company about which the nuclear safety authority has published a letter (specifically, some of the documentation of its manufacturing processes was not compliant). It emphasises the fact that all of its equipment IS compliant.

I'm having trouble with "dans l'oeuvre" in the following paragraph:

Thanks!

English translation:within the plant/installation
Explanation:
ie it seems that these accumulators (accumulating what, I don't know: charge, pressure, fluid....) have already been installed in the plant, after having received their C of C from the responsible inspection authority.

installed (redundant)

Explanation:
Since it stands to reason that your accumulateurs, whether tanks or batteries, for a nuclear power plant are not going to be installed in the basement of a disused cosmetics plant where cannabis is now grown and processed, I think you can leave dans l'oeuvre out.
